Peanut Butter Cup

I love peanut butter cups so much. I keep a stash of them at my desk and in my freezer. The perfect combination of salty, sweet, nutty and chocolaty makes me happy and I can easily eat a few little ones. I was chewing on one recently and thought, “you know…this would make a pretty good cocktail” and I headed to the liquor store to gather supplies.

This quick cocktail is made delicious with a heavy dose of peanut butter whiskey and chocolate liqueur with a good splash of cream. The salt and chocolate rim brings out more of the peanut butter goodness, too.

The Peanut Butter Cup Cocktail
First, prep your glass by rimming the edge with chocolate syrup then gently roll the rimmed glass in flakey salt.
Next, in a cocktail mixer, combine ice and equal parts:
-Peanut butter whiskey
-Chocolate liqueur
-Cream
Shake gently to combine and pour into a martini or coupe glass and enjoy!

This cocktail is super simple and easy to tailor to what you like more of. Rather have more chocolate flavor? Add a little more of the chocolate liqueur or a little less of the whiskey, but don’t forget that salted chocolate rim!!

I’d love to hear what you’re drinking – leave a comment and come back tomorrow for my peppermint mocha.

Cheers!
